Description
Draft a sleeveless top
understand how to make a pattern
Sunday 19th January 2025
10-4pm
In this day workshop, we are gonna understand the process of making a simple pattern.
Starting with a bodice block, you are gonna learn how to move darts, add ease and transform a block in order to draft a sleeveless top. I will teach you how to add yokes, a collar, a buttons placket, frills, pockets etc….depending on what you want to make.
After a fitting in calico we will proceed to the corrections of the toile and make a neat pattern that you will be able to reuse for ever!
If you have attended my bodice block workshop, bring your calico block.
This workshop is suitable for sewing beginners as it involves a lot of tracing on paper but you need to be able to use a sewing machine.
