Simply browse our workshops online and check availability. You can book online with a credit card, debit card or PayPal account. Or you can telephone and pay for your workshop with a credit or debit card over the phone on 01373 464437. Alternatively, you can pop into the shop and pay in person by cash or credit/debit card. We are open Monday – Saturday 10am – 5pm *Please note full payment is required in advance.

Full payment is required prior to a workshop commencing. If you find yourself unable to attend your booking and it’s more than 14 days in advance, we can offer a full refund or you can transfer to a future workshop free of charge. If cancellation is within 14 days of your workshop unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund, due to tutor bookings and materials prepared. You are welcome to send someone else in your place, just let us know the change of name. These rules equally apply to gift voucher bookings, parties and 1-1 bookings.

A full refund will be given if your workshop is cancelled by Millie Moon for any reason, or you can elect to attend an alternative workshop instead, space permitting. We will not be liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur, If you need to arrange travel or overnight accommodation, we recommend that you seek appropriate insurance.

We like to keep our workshops small and friendly, so there are usually around 4-6 on each class.

For most of our workshops, all materials and tools are supplied. There may be exceptions, in which case you will be notified online in the workshop description. If you would like to bring your own tools, please just let us know first.

For private tuition, you will need to provide your own materials.

Kids parties all materials are included.

Of course! Sometimes is easier to learn on your own machine. Please just let us know in advance and arrive for your workshop 15 minutes early to set up. If you don’t have access to a machine, don’t worry, we have Jenome machines available for you to use.

Kids workshops 7 years+

Teens workshops 12 years+

Adult workshops 16 years+

Private tuition for all ages over 7 years

If you have never used a sewing machine before and would like to learn then we recommend the first workshop you book is the “Teach me to Sew” with Angela. This class takes you through all the basics of the machine and shows you how to work the machine and what to do if things go wrong. Once you have done this workshop you can sign up to any of the other workshops. This workshop is available for adults  or as a teen workshop for over 12+. Should you wish private tuition this will be £60 for 2 hours for adults or teens.

We offer Kids parties with our sister company ,Craftival. A maximum of 6 children age 7+, making a simple felt project for 1 1/2 hours is £70

Should you wish to have a party with another tutor or for a different group, these will priced accordingly so please ask for a quote.

Full payment is due one week before the workshops.  Our terms and conditions on refunds and cancellations are the same as the main workshop policy. Please check before booking.

We book your party with us based on your estimated numbers up to a maximum of 6. Should the numbers change, or you would like to add more we do ask that you contact the shop on 01373 464437 to discuss the options.  We like to be as flexible as possible to help you in any way that we can, but space and timings can prevent changes. No. Unfortunately due to time constraints and the party taking place in the shop, it is not suitable to have food.  However, You are welcome to bring a cake.

Yes you can! Any order to Millie Moon online can now be collected from the store for FREE. Just select the ‘Click and Collect’ option at checkout.

You will get an email from the store to tell you when to collect it. Please be patient and wait for confirmation before collecting your order. We don’t want you to be disappointed!

You can cancel your order up to the time that we send it. You will need to place a new order if you want to add products to your delivery. Yes. We will send you a receipt of your order in an email. Please read and check the details carefully to make sure that they are correct.

All fabrics are priced per Quarter of a metre. All fabrics will be sent out as a fat quarter or increments of.

Eg:

2 fqs = 50cm

3 fqs = 75cm

4 fqs = 100cm/1metre

A fat quarter is approx. 50cm2
