Merry Christmas!  

So it’s the final few days before the big day. We are still rushing around here, making the final few gifts and finishing touches, but really looking forward to spending some time together with all the family.

We are taking a bit of a longer break this year, but the website will still be open for orders, gift vouchers and workshop bookings.

This creative season it’s been all about the Catherine Hill fabric and Kool Kactus christmas fabrics, we would love to see what you have made with the fabrics so please share your pics and if they are on the socials, please tag us so we don’t miss them!

BOWS

It’s also all been about velvet and bows.  Our french velvet ribbons have been really popular with everyone from decorating their trees with little bows, wreaths, bow garlands and wrapping presents. We still have a few colours left in the velvet ribbons and fabrics.

This tree bow below is made with our gorgeous ivory velvet fabric.

Kits

Sewing kits make great gifts and we have a large selection!

Embroidery, Cross stitch, Aprons, skirts, bunting, bucket hats and more. Plus our fun hand sewing kids kits Or why not try something new. The Lampshade kits are back in stock in all 3 sizes and we have a couple of the gorgeous Botanical bundle dye kits left.

Online Orders

Last Christmas posting date was the 19th December,  so we cannot guarantee any orders placed now will arrive in time for christmas.  BUT, we do have our online gift vouchers and you can still book workshops.

The Vouchers can be any value you would like and can be send direct to the person you would like to gift right up to the big day, just pop in their email address.

These vouchers are valid for 1 year and can be used for workshops or fabulous fabrics and haberdashery. 

As always we would like to thank you all for supporting our independent business, whether in the shop, on a workshop, online or just following us on the social media and sharing our posts.

January 2025 Workshops

🧵 Looking for that special gift for someone? Or may a new year hobby for yourself? As we are now racing through December to the big day, we have been thinking about what to offer for workshops in the new year.

So many of you have asked for a beginners class that we are now offering two workshops! One during the day and one on an evening.  We also have our new monthly Monday Sewcial club, garment making, Sashiko, darning and new one day workshop making a sleeveless top pattern. Finally the return of Jo Joof art club.
