Hello everyone,

What a long month January really is?

Is everyone ready for February and coming out of hibernation?

The workshop listing for February and March is now available. They are all on our website so you can book online or pop into the shop.

 February sees the return of the “Beginners Patchwork and Quilt” workshop with Becki and Anna’s  “make a skirt in a day without a paper Pattern”. Anna is also doing the popular ‘make a pattern from a preloved garment’ workshop and we have a NEW Embroidery workshop with Kelly.

Moving into March, and Anna is back with her garment making classes:- The ‘Merchant and Mills garment in a day’ and the  6 week evening class. Becki will be teaching ‘introduction to machine sewing’ for all the beginners out there, and we have a NEW workshop  from Skye @slowstitchclub. A great new ‘next level’ Swiss darning workshop. For those that have done the ‘intro to darning’ and loved it, you maybe feel ready for the next challenge? Finally, Justine is back with a NEW workshop – drafting a pattern for a blouse with sleeves.

Hmmm…. Ok ok throwing off the duvet… I may venture out. How about you?

January workshops 2025 – Book Now!

Did you get a voucher for Christmas? May be your first sewing machine? Or did you find that overlocker still in its box hiding being the xmas decorations?

So many of you have asked for beginners classes, that we are now offering two workshops! One during the day and one on an evening.  We also have our new monthly Monday Sewcial club, garment making, Sashiko, darning and new one day workshop making a sleeveless top pattern. Also, 1-1 for overlocker help or if you have a specific project you need help with. Finally we see the return of Jo Joof art club.
