Spring is on its way! March news …

Hello everyone,

Moving into March and spring is just around the corner!  The Frome Independant Market is back on Sunday 1st March. First one of the year, and we will be open 11-3pm.  We will also have our pattern swap box out for the weekend so pop in,  just put one in and take one out! We are getting new patterns in the box all the time. These can be vintage, part used, magazines, books and brand new patterns.

We have some lovely new fabrics arriving, including denims, Ramie and Tencel twill pictured below . Lovely weights to see you through the cooler spring temperatures. These are perfect for the new Style Arc patterns we have in stock too!

Also, some lovely bright cotton prints from Kaffe Fassett, Ruby Star,Tula pink and Dear Stella. New Indian cottons are on order ready for those summer makes too.

So much colour and joy everywhere.

See you Market day!

Hello February… at last ❤️

Hello everyone,

What a long month January really is?

Is everyone ready for February and coming out of hibernation?

The workshop listing for February and March is now available. They are all on our website so you can book online or pop into the shop. (Please note some of tutors take their own bookings and have their own websites that you will be directed too)

February sees the return of the “Beginners learn how to use a sewing machine” workshop with Kelly and Anna’s  “make a pattern from an existing garment”. Anna is also doing the popular ‘6 week garment making evening class’ workshop

Moving into March, and Kelly is back with her Beginners learn how to use a sewing machine and we have Skye @slowstitchclub back with Darning and Sashiko. Finally, Justine is getting ready for spring with her make a shirt workshop.

Hmmm…. Ok ok throwing off the duvet… I may venture out. How about you?

Rachel x
